Hi there lovelies,

I was planning on vlogging my week in Harrogate, but as I was too busy I kept forgetting it. So I thought I’d do a little written recap!
On Tuesday we flew to Leeds. My dad brought me and some of my friends to the airport and we were super excited. A lot of my friends had never flown before, so that was quite nerve-wrecking for them. I love flying though; I always get really hyper during take-off. I’m that weirdo sitting next to you smiling from ear to ear, like a little kid on Christmas morning. Anyway, the aeroplane was really small and it was quite windy, but the flight was okay.

We took the bus to Harrogate and a lovely lady told us we needed to get off at Betty’s (the famous Betty’s Tearoom), so we did. We had to walk quite a bit to our apartment and we had to walk uphill… with all our suitcases… it was hellish. When we finally got to our apartment, we had to go up to the fifth floor – there was no elevator – and we were all sweating our asses off when we got there haha! It was all worth it though, we stayed in an amazing apartment and it looked gorgeous!
We stayed at the Valley Park Studios, and you can actually go inside every apartment on Google Streetview! If you want to take a look at the apartment we were staying in, click here!

We decided to get groceries and have a night at the apartment. We needed to sort out our workshops and talks for the IATEFL conference, so we did that, watched Magic Mike and went to bed kind of early.

Day 1 is a bit short, because it was just travelling and getting settled in our little apartment. Hope you liked it!

Lots of love,
