REVIEW | ARGAN OIL

Hi there lovely faces! Today I’m going to tell you about my experience with Argan Oil and what it did for me.
I’ve heard a lot of great stories about Argan Oil, it seemed to be this wonder product for basically anything! Hair, nails and cuticles, face... I’m quite sceptic about these things, so I didn’t bother to buy it.

For my mum’s Mother’s Day gift, I ordered a gift box online from www.misslipgloss.nl. It was made out of lovely products, and there it was; a tiny bottle of pure Argan Oil!
The Argan Oil I have is from http://www.arganwinkel.nl/. It’s a Dutch website that sells Argan Oil products, on the first page it explains what Argan Oil can do for your hair, skin and hair.

It claims to make your hair softer, thicker and healthier looking. It hydrates your nails and cuticles and makes them stronger. It hydrates your skin and makes scarring and blemishes vanish. Wait, what?
When I have a zit, 9 out of 10 times it leaves a dark mark on my skin. A scar. Even if I don’t touch the zit AT ALL, it will leave a blemish. I’m quite confident about my skin, I can go to school or work without any makeup on, but it’s still bothering me.

When I read that it makes scars and blemishes disappear, and evens out the surface of your skin, I was still a bit sceptic, but I was willing to try it.

When I first started trying it, I saw hardly any difference. I went on a volleyball camp and my face got sunburned... not the best thing when you want to make your scarring disappear I thought. So I put on quite a bit of the Argan Oil on my worst blemishes before I went to bed, not expecting much. When I woke up in the morning and washed my face with some water, I looked in the mirror. My mind was blown. Wow!
This picture was taken the day before volleyball camp. This is my “bad side”, this cheek has the most scarring. All the blemishes you see here are scars. None of them are active breakouts.
This picture was taken right after I washed my face with some water (So please don't mind my dishevelled hair). I’m still a bit in shock, I just can’t believe it! Absolutely speechless.

For better comparison, here you have the before and after shots next to each other.

I didn’t expect it to work this well, but I’m definitely going to keep using this! I hope my blemishes will vanish completely. I’ll keep you updated! ;)

One thing I have to say is that Argan Oil is quite an expensive product, you have to find a (web)shop that sells 100% Pure Agran Oil, if it isn’t on the expensive side it’s probably not 100% pure. Look out for that.

Lots of love,
Laurie

  1. It's a huge difference indeed! Did you use it a second night? Were they less visible after this second night?
Do you have to keep using it to let this result remain?
