Hi there lovely faces! Today I’m going to tell you all
about my eye operation and all the things around that. If you haven’t seen my
first post on this, click here.
Before you
continue reading this post, please keep in mind that I’m Dutch and I’m not that
familiar with medical terms. Chances are I’m going to say something that doesn’t
make sense to you at all, if so please tell me in a polite way. Thank you in
advance.
The picture above shows you the day before my “operation”,
it is just minor surgery, nothing too big. I’m wearing no makeup at all.
First you have an intake; they check your eyes and
eyesight. The only downside to that is that you get eye drops that widen your
pupils. I don’t need glasses or anything, so for me that was an annoying
experience. (You can’t read anything; your eyesight is foggy, etc.)
When you come in for the surgery, you have to lie down
on this chair. (It reminded me of going to the dentist haha) You get local aesthesia,
then the put a clip on your eyelid that flips your eyelid. They make a tiny cut
and the stuff comes out.
This is what it looks like now – the morning after. It
doesn’t hurt too bad, but it is definitely irritated.
I’ll let you see the results when my eye is back to
normal. Hopefully I will be able to wear shimmery eyeshadows again haha!
Lots of love,
Laurie
