Hi everyone! If you follow me on Instagram, you know my mum and I bought a few MAC goodies. This is the last one to write a blog post about. (Read the other two here: Nail Lacquer in Saint Germain; Lipstick in Faux)

Prices: €18.50 // US$15.00 // £14.00 for 3.0g / 0.1 us oz

My mum was looking for a neon pink lipstick. First I recommended Candy Yum Yum to my mum, but that isn’t available yet (where I live), or Viva Glam Nicki. So we went over to MAC and my mum asked the girl at the counter which lipstick she thought was neon pink.
When the girl swatched this on her hand, it looked a lot more neon than it actually is. So my mum bought it. She is content with it, but I think Candy Yum Yum would have been a better choice.
It is a Viva Glam lipstick, which means that every cent of the selling price goes toward helping woman, men and children living with and affected by HIV/aids. I like the idea of helping others by simply buying a lipstick.

The packaging of the Viva Glam lipstick has red details and an autograph of the artist the lipstick is designed by or inspired from. In this case it’s Nicki Minaj, but for example Lady GaGa has her own lipstick as well. These lipsticks are all limited edition, but the Nicki one has been around for quite some time now.

My bare lips – not even wearing any make up at all.
My lips with Viva Glam Nicki – I think it is a nice pink, but not a true neon. It has a satin finish, which means it isn't super matte or super glossy.

My mum is content with this lipstick, now she’s on the hunt for a neon coral. If you have any recommendations, let me know!

Lots of love,
